Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with over four years of experience in managing accounting operations within the Trading sector. This mid-level position will play a vital role in our organization by managing the financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all accounting data.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
Handle VAT computation, returns, and compliance as per government regulations.
Maintain books of accounts as per the VAT Act and Rules; purchase books and sales books for the company.
Prepare and maintain daily accounts and make entries into the accounting software Tally and Excel.
Prepare weekly receivable/payable reports & Handling of Petty and Banking transactions.
Reconciliation of Tax ledgers, Debtors, Creditors, and Cash/Online Payments/Bank reconciliation.
Assist the senior in compiling and preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the concerned authority.

Other Specification

Must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
Familiar with Accounting software Tally and Excel.
Good knowledge of accounting.
Good communication skills & Positive attitude, and prepared to work in a team environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail with high accuracy.
