Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should be organized, reliable, and capable of working efficiently under pressure while supporting the company’s financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all cash and bank vouchers, journal vouchers, sales, purchases, and inter-branch transactions.
Coordinate with concerned team members to rectify and update any discrepancies or errors in the books of accounts on a daily basis.
Ensure all ledgers are properly maintained, segregated agent-wise, and aligned with final accounting entries.
Prepare and submit daily work reports along with weekly reports on stock, debtors, creditors, costing, bank statements, and other reports as required by management.
Make accounting and financial decisions in the best interest of the company while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Prior experience using Swastik Accounting Software will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Candidate must reside near Samakhushi or be willing to commute daily.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Office Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
