Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for experienced and qualified Accountant for an Australia-based accounting firm. Prospective candidates will need to have below:

Work conditions:

Selected candidate will work from office in Boudha, Kathmandu.
Work will be Monday - Friday total of 40 hours per week.
Working hours 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Sydney based time.
An attractive salary will be awarded based on your role, knowledge, skills, and experience.

NOTE: Only shortlisted candidates will be selected for an interview. Interview will be via Zoom with overseas Directors and Managers.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Education: B.Com./BBS (completed), MBA, MBS/M.Com. (completed/running), ACCA, Chartered Accountant (semi-qualified/qualified)

Selection Criteria:

Fluent in English speaking and writing. You will be dealing with overseas colleagues, managers and clients.
This position is ideal for candidate with Australian qualification and accounting experience.
You MUST be highly skilled and MUST have at least 5 years experience in accounting. (overseas experience preferred)
Candidate will need sound knowledge of excel and email and technologies
CA, CPA, IPA qualified will be advantaged
Experienced in accounting software like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks
Candidates with sound knowledge and experience about GST, BAS, Taxation, Payroll, superannuation will be preferred.
You may be asked to prepare monthly reports, budgets.
Strong work ethics, fast learner, team player

Note:

Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree and are currently pursuing a master's degree are eligible to apply.
There is no salary bar for deserving candidates — salary can be exceeded based on skills and experience.
