Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kathmandu. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting tax preparation and planning. Additional responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, managing payroll, and providing support during audits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Experience with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Experience with tax return filling and planning
• Experience with Financial Statement preparation.
• The candidate shall be willing to visit the client places and also to IRD offices based on requirement.
