Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accountant will assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Parttime seekers may also apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure that all accounting entries are posted correctly.
Bookkeeping: Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and verify discrepancies in accounts.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
Expense Management: Monitor and manage company expenses and ensure proper documentation for expenditures.
Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
General Ledger: Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and assist in preparing financial reports.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in tax compliance and filing.
Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards.
