Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage the financial operations of Code Mantra. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to ensure stability.
  • Manage payroll processing and tax filings in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and conduct periodic audits.
  • Assist in financial planning, investment strategies, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable tax laws.
  • Collaborate with management to provide financial insights for business growth.
  • Work with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial advisors as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the education or technology sector.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
