Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our esteemed construction company. We are seeking a dedicated professional with over three years of experience in Accounting to contribute to our dynamic team.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Accountant:

Softwares - Tally / Finpro / Swastik
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of outstanding balances.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handlingsensitive data.
Process payroll for construction staff and ensure accurate calculations and timely payments.
Monitor project costs and expenses, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in the construction industry.
Work closely with the CEO to ensure smooth operation of all Accounting and Financial Works
Preparation of Site wise Monthly Expense report
In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Accountant may also be involved in other and additional projects and tasks as required by the company's management.

TIME - 9.30 AM TO 6.30 PM

Note: Priority will be given to candidates with prior experience in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: More than 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Finpro, and Swastik.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Expertise in preparing financial statements, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

Key Competencies:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
