Roles and responsibilities of this job

Accountant will be responsible for managing day to day financial entries and maintaining store and keeping of records.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of organizational and project-specific budgets.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and donor requirements, including tax filings and audits.
Grant Management: Track and report on grant expenditures and ensure proper allocation of funds according to grant agreements.
Payroll Processing: Manage payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to staff.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
Audit Preparation: Assist with the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
Policy Development: Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
