Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our growing startup company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks or a similar accounting software
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and collecting payments
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasting future financial performance and advising management on financial strategy
Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and tax laws, ensuring the company is in compliance
Collaborate with the management team to identify cost-saving opportunities and support business growth initiatives

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Good knowledge of book keeping, cash management, collection, financial control, tax accounting
Graduate in commerce field
Good skill to operate computer, MS Excel, MS Word
Must have good command over written and spoken English
Excellent knowledge of taxation and Govt. tax rules of the country
Should be flexible & ability to handle pressure
Should be result oriented
