Job Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records, manage ledgers, and post journal entries.
  • Process invoices, record payments, manage vendor and customer accounts, and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit and loss statements) and other reports for internal and external use.
  • Perform regular account and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, assist in preparing tax returns, and manage VAT and TDS reconciliations.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Handle client inquiries, manage client accounts, and sometimes solicit new accounts or cross-sell products.
  • Monitor account activities, track expenses, and help with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Use accounting software and tools like Microsoft Excel to perform daily tasks.
