Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an Accountant who will assist the Senior Accountant in handling routine accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial documents, including invoices, bills, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, accurately and on time.
Enter financial information into accounting software programs.
Verify financial statements, ledgers, and accounts, reporting discrepancies and recommending corrections.
Reconcile account balances and rectify discrepancies.
Verify bank deposits and manage day-to-day transactions.
Perform account reconciliations under supervision.
Prepare VAT returns, TDS, and E-TDS.
Support the Senior Accountant in internal and external audits.
Post daily sales and receipts.
Report on debtors and creditors.
Sort financial documents and post them to the correct accounts.
Prepare LC/TT/RTGS-related documents.
Prepare cost sheets (COGS) for management purposes.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in trading companies.

Key Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Proficiency in Tally Software
Experience in Balance Sheet preparation
Strong bookkeeping skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills for reporting

Salary is negotiable based on the candidates exprience and qualification.
