Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Account Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the financial stability and compliance of the company. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing accounts, processing payments, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial information and analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
Assist in the year-end audit process by providing necessary documentation and support.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry.
Proven experience with accounting software.
Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
