Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated Account Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounts department and aiding in financial recordkeeping.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts and daily accounting entries
Prepare client invoices, track receivables, and follow up on collections
Process vendor bills, payments, and expense vouchers after verification
Perform bank, cash, client, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations on a regular basis
Reconcile payroll, advances, and statutory deductions (TDS/VAT)
Monitor cash flow and prepare periodic cash position reports
Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts
Prepare MIS, budgeting support, and variance analysis reports
Ensure compliance with taxation laws, company policies, and internal controls
Support internal and external audits and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
Perform other duties as assigned by Finance Manager

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

BBA completed or a similar degree in accounting or finance or CA-Semi Qualified
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the security service industry
Proficiency in Tally Software is a must
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must have a valid two-wheeler license
