A counsellor is the one who could guide on personal and psychological problems, and Universal Thought Consultancy (UTC) is about understanding our students needs and building awareness about how our services can motivate and convince. Objectives of this Role

You will be tasked with providing quality admin support to the director and the overall team. Regular activities are varied, and diverse day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Interaction and counselling with students to understand their academic, emotional, social and emotional concerns in an open and non-judgemental way.
  • Working directly with students to set achievable goals.
  • Answering and directing all student calls in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with conflict mediation and resolution between students and test preparation faculty.
  • Provide additional administrative support as required by the team.
  • Providing effective materials and content related to their career choice.
  • Assist in market presentation.
  • Documentation of Visa processing
  • Social media query handling and follow-up.
  • Support on planning and moderating on webinars or seminars hosted
  • Support on building and developing strategies on bringing leads
  • Understanding of various education systems, universities, and programs worldwide

Skills and Expertise

  • University/college degree
  • 2-3 years of student counselling experience
  • Knowledge of student development expertise
  • Person with patience, compassion and attention to deal
  • Strong communication skills to deal with people of all levels
  • A can-do approach, happy to turn your hand to anything that needs completing
  • QEAC certification (other related certifications are prioritised)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • A mature approach to everything you do
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and must work independently reliable and punctual
