Provide technical support and to program unit team in managing the HOPE project. Coordinate to promote and protect rights of working children from violence, abuse and exploitation and create an enabling and safe working environment free from the worst form of child labor, by child rights program interventions in the project area, timely delivery of reports with quality according to the objectives and approach in the project document

Term and Location: Fixed term employment till 30th June 2016 based in Makwanpur Program Unit.

Required qualifications & experiences: Bachelors Degree in Social Science, Development Studies or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of working experiences in child rights issues and child rights promotion. Experience of working with children in difficult circumstances and child labor issues preferred. INGO work experiences an added advantage.

Key End Results and typical Responsibilities:

  • Develop and periodically review project plan and budget forecast, annual plans, and quarterly plans and budgets for effective project implementation
  • Coordinate the technical design of project interventions and development of technical guidance and tools for field staff
  • Ensure proper and comprehensive documentation and effective record keeping for accountability purposes
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of annual Monitoring & Evaluation plans, plan and conduct end of project evaluation
  • Develop a system for capturing, documenting and disseminating project experiences, lesson learnt and best practice to stakeholders
  • Establish and consult with partners and project stakeholders and ensure their adequate participation at all stages of project implementation
  • Establish and manage partnerships including ensuring efficient utilization and timely accountability of funds and other resources allocated to implementing partners
  • Prepare and share quality periodic project reports as per donor requirements and project document
