Job Description

Conscious Impact Nepal currently seeks one enthusiastic and action-oriented educator who is passionate about empowering youth in rural areas. The selected applicant will design youth mentorship, success and education programs, with the freedom to create curriculum and work collaboratively with a small, yet diverse team. The position offers professional development in the positive youth impact space. 

This person needs to have classroom experience, be a self-starter, and, after an initial period of guidance and collaboration, be able to develop curriculum and design workshops that explore concepts around identity, social challenges, environmental science and sustainability, sexual reproductive health and gender identity, inequality and empowerment themes, as well as academic topics such as STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) and language development with both primary and secondary level students.

  • Lead and develop curriculum for Youth Program sessions (academic or empowerment sessions, after school or homework help sessions) each day during school at two local secondary schools and one local primary school partners. 
  • Maintain positive partner school relationships and manage regular communication with partner schools, potential and interested schools, student groups and partnering organizations. 
  • Facilitate after school tutoring, academic, and extracurricular sessions for local school children with international volunteers to participate. 
  • Plan logistics with rural and remote schools in the region to develop further relationships through our Painting Program, beautifying rural classrooms around Indrawati Gaunpalika. 
  • Assisting with outside of program translation needs for operational and organizational  purposes
