Job Description

The Yoga Teacher will be responsible for contributing to the school's positive environment, taking initiatives for student/school development while coming with creativity and solutions, meeting parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and determining children’s priorities and resource needs.

Conduct and lead yoga classes.
Design yoga programs that are age-appropriate for students in various grade levels.
Capacity to establish a good rapport with students and foster a helpful learning environment.
Create and maintain lesson plans for yoga classes.
Evaluate student’s physical condition and specific needs, and recommend appropriate exercises.
Visually assess students to determine their level of practice.
Work together with class teachers and other wellness specialists to advance general well-being.
Plan and direct yoga classes or activities for school-wide projects or special occasions.
Ability to connect with students and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Provide training suggestions to enhance yoga practice.
Genuine passion for promoting health and well-being through the practice of yoga.
