The objective of this assignment is to critically review the existing capacity-building manuals and packages developed by NGOs and projects in the last years and to prepare a training package for WUSCs that specifically address the functionality of water supply schemes and incorporate the role of the SSC.
The training package will be based on the Service Support Centre Guidance Manual (DWSSM 2023) and in alignment with ‘Design Guidelines for Community Based Gravity Flow Rural Water Supply Schemes – Operation & Maintenance Manual Policy & Guidelines 2002’ and will incorporate the newly drafted policy and regulations updates prepared by DWSSM and MoWS.
