Farsight Inc. is an online media and research organization that provides insight, in-depth analysis, news, investigation, research, and expert opinion on complex issues. Our team is dedicated to delivering accurate and valuable information to drive informed decision-making.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nepali language Writer/Reporter. You will conduct research, analyze data, conduct interviews, and produce works on news and stories covering business, particularly MSMEs, finance, and economy.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in journalism, economics, finance, or business field.
Prior one year experience in writing, journalism, or reporting is highly desirable.
Strong Nepali language writing skills with an excellent command of Nepali grammar, vocabulary, and style conventions
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging articles, reports, features, and stories.
Proficiency in conducting thorough research to gather accurate information and verify facts.
Ability to conduct effective interviews with sources to gather information, quotes, and insights for articles or stories.
Ability to critically evaluate information, identify newsworthy stories, and offer unique perspectives or angles.
Understanding of journalistic ethics, including principles of accuracy, fairness, impartiality, and integrity.
