Country of delivery: Nepal 
Client: United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) 
Beneficiary: FCDO/ Government of Nepal (GoN) 
Duration: The position is expected to be continued till 13th August 2029, with an initial one-year contract period. 

Lines of Communication:

Accountable to: Deputy Team Leaders-Governance and Infrastructure 
Reporting: 
The position will report directly to Deputy Team Leaders (Governance and Infrastructure) at DT-Global. 

Position Overview  
The Work Plan Manager will be responsible for creating, updating and managing the implementation workplan for LISP. This role will track progress against agreed milestones, ensuring timely delivery of outputs and alignment with programme goals.

Scope of Work: 

  • Maintain, and regularly update the programme implementation work plan incorporating inputs from all workstreams.
  • Track progress against milestones, deliverables, and timelines, flagging potential risks or delays.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and provincial staff to gather data and updates on implementation activities.
  • Prepare progress reports, Gantt charts, and dashboards to share with the LISP Central Core Management Team (CCMT)
  • Develop and manage a system for monitoring dependencies and critical paths in the work plan.
  • Organise and facilitate workplan review meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on progress and upcoming activities.
  • Contribute to programme evaluations and learning cycles by providing workplan data and analysis.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as directed by Team Leader and Deputy Team Leaders- Governance and Infrastructure lead.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project planning and management, preferably in infrastructure or international development programmes.
  • Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and track complex work plans.
  • Advanced and demonstrable proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English – both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with FCDO programme requirements and reporting standards is an advantage.
