What You’ll Be Working On

Developing and maintaining client WordPress sites: From concept to completion, you will bring client visions to life.
Customizing WordPress themes: Use HTML, CSS, and PHP to meet client specifications and needs.
Optimizing sites: Ensure sites are search engine optimized and have excellent page speed.
Integrating e-commerce / News functionality: Utilize plugins to add e-commerce features and payment gateways.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with clients: Understand requirements and deliver high-quality sites.
Designing, coding, testing, and launching: Manage new WordPress site projects from start to finish.
Troubleshooting bugs and fixes: Maintain and improve existing client sites.
Staying current: Keep up-to-date with WordPress core updates and plugin/theme releases.
Implementing best practices: Ensure website security and performance are top-notch.

Requirements

Experience: 1+ years of professional experience developing WordPress sites.

Expert knowledge: Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.

Theme and plugin development: Skilled in creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.

SEO and performance: Experience with SEO, web performance optimization, and e-commerce is preferred.

Portfolio: Demonstrate successful WordPress projects you’ve worked on.

Independence: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with multiple teams.
