• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Expertise in front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Strong Knowledge of PHP and MySQL 
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector 
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development.

 Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of PHP backend development frameworks (Laravel, Codeigniter, Zend, etc)
