About the Role

We are on a mission to create extraordinary digital experiences, and as a Web/WordPress Developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our online presence, ensuring top-notch security, performance, and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate for the WordPress Developer position will have a passion for web development and possess strong technical skills in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MYSQL, and have high expertise in SEO, performance, and security best practices. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of content writers, designers and developers to create and maintain custom WordPress websites and plugins, ensuring the highest level of quality and functionality.

What are your deliverables?

• Develop visually stunning, secure, and high-performance websites, utilizing your coding expertise to build custom PHP and WordPress plugins.
• Optimize and enhance existing web tools, themes, and plugins, ensuring top-notch security and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into innovative web solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, implement SEO best practices, and drive website visibility.
• Take ownership of website maintenance, testing, and quality assurance, providing technical support and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 Years experience in Web development (including WordPress, PHP, and web frontend)

Skills Required:

• Custom themes and plugins bow to your expertise; you sculpt WordPress with finesse.
• Code is your language: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more dance at your fingertips.
• Databases reveal their secrets to you; data formats and common databases are your domain.
• APIs and web app integrations are your playgrounds; you weave digital magic with RESTful wonders.
• Websites under your spell are not just visually enchanting but fortified with security and bewitching SEO.
• Responsiveness is your gift; compatibility across browsers and devices is effortlessly woven into your designs.
• Web security bends to your will; vulnerabilities shudder in the face of your expertise.
• Custom plugins and version control systems are your trusted allies; you command Git with grace.
