Job Description

The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of water treatment processes and maintaining the highest quality standards for the water used in Kathmandu Bottles’ production. The role involves monitoring, controlling, and optimizing the water treatment system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily water treatment operations to ensure the consistent supply of high-quality water.
  • Operate and maintain water treatment equipment, including filtration systems, disinfection units, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Monitor and control water quality parameters such as pH, turbidity, and chlorine levels.
  • Conduct regular water quality testing and analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Identify and address any deviations in water quality promptly.
  • Perform routine maintenance on water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to water treatment processes and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Ensure all water treatment operations comply with local, national, and international water quality standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Implement environmental best practices to minimize the environmental impact of water treatment operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of water treatment processes, test results, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on water quality, treatment efficiency, and compliance status.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in water treatment technologies and practices.
  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance water treatment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and guidance to other staff members on water treatment procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
