Major Responsibilities:

Ensure implementation of designed WASH programme on Public Health Engineering (PHE) aspects

  • Assist to line supervisor for making effective plan of implementation works
  • Update to respective line supervision of daily progress activities in regular basis
  • Ensure to implement the designed and planned activities at field level

Take lead in programme implementation (in PHE part) at field level

  • Handle the implementation of designed WSS activities at field level.
  • Provide instruction to skilled and unskilled person at construction site for quality of works in regular basis
  • Ensure quality of materials used for the construction works at field level

Monitor and supervise of ongoing construction works

  • Regularly monitor and supervise WASH implementation works at the field level
  • Undertake regular field/site visits to ensure technical support to WSUC and workers
  • Prepare monthly time sheet and report to the respective line supervisorith Water and Sanitation Users Committee (WSUC) for smoothly completion of works

Qualification and Experience:

  • 15-month technical course from CTEVT with at least two years of experience in relevant field preferably in rural water supply system

Required Skills:

  • Experience in rural water supply works, well familiar  with different water structures and can replicate the designed structure on ground
  • Well experience of management of plumber and skilled/labours in coordination of WSUC
  • Good experience of GI pipe bending, GI crossing, Cable crossing, reservoir tanks, break pressure tanks, distribution tanks, wash out, air vent/valve works
  • Well knowledge of safety materials, its management and technical guidance to water and sanitation users committee 
  • Ability to work in diverse environment and remote areas
  • Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age Diversity and Social Inclusion
