Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to handle key warehouse tasks such as receiving and processing inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining organized stock storage and retrieval.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Fulfillment

Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer or internal specifications.
Ensure that orders are prepared for dispatch in a timely manner, including labeling, tagging, and securing items.
Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as necessary.

2. Warehouse Organization

Maintain an organized and clean warehouse by ensuring products are stored safely and in the correct location.
Ensure all shelves, bins, and storage areas are organized to optimize space and workflow.
Assist with rotating stock to ensure products are stored in accordance with the first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.

3. Quality Control

Inspect products for damage or defects after receiving the products and before they are stored or dispatched.
Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager for further action.
Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications before leaving the warehouse.

4. Health and Safety Compliance

Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and free of hazards.
Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment, machinery, and materials.
Assist with ensuring that safety equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is used safely and maintained regularly.

5. Team Collaboration

Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in training new warehouse staff or colleagues when required.
Communicate effectively with the team and other departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently.

6. Other Duties

Support in the GRN Process by tagging and verification of received products.
Help with regular Inventory Counting.
Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by the Warehouse Manager.
Provide general support in various areas of the warehouse based on operational needs.
