We are a not-for-profit NGO based in Kathmandu, working in rural communities of Nepal.

Our mission is to empower marginalized communities through equitable, inclusive and holistic development programs. There are four pillars in our developmental approach: Education, Health & Environment, Economy and Basic infrastructure development. These four pillars of development are supported by six major community empowerment programs namely Women’s Empowerment, Children’s Development, Youth Empowerment, Public Health & Medical care, Environment Conservation and Disaster Risk Reduction. All VIN’s developmental and humanitarian programs are aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Job Description

VC is responsible to coordinate with international & local volunteers. VC represents VIN’s Vvalues and mission, and is responsible for effectively integrating the skills and experiences of international volunteers with the knowledge and vision of the local team. This includes everything necessary to ensure the effective settling of volunteers, such that they are able to contribute to the best of their abilities. Logistic Support like, airport pick up, accommodation booking, orientation / training, placement, arranging host families, follow up support, transportation, planning & reporting.

Expected Qualities

  • Fluent in English, excellent interpersonal communications, flexible, adoptable, hard-working, passionate on empowering disadvantaged people, punctual, coordination and negotiation, leadership, planning, reporting & documentation,
  • Female are given more priority

Salary: Negotiable
