Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated Visual Arts Teacher to join our dynamic team in Premier International School. Our school is dedicated to providing a holistic and enriching education experience to our students. We are looking for a passionate and creative individual who can engage and inspire our students in the field of visual arts. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in visual arts, excellent teaching skills, and a deep understanding of the educational needs of students in the school and college industry.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver visual arts lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and standards
Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and exploration
Evaluate and assess students' progress through a variety of methods such as assignments, projects, and exams
Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning and growth
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate the visual arts curriculum with other subjects
Organize and participate in school events and exhibitions to showcase students' artworks
Stay updated with current trends and techniques in visual arts education and incorporate them into teaching methods
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and areas of improvement

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Visual Arts or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching visual arts in a school or college setting
Proven expertise in various visual arts techniques and mediums
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the field of visual arts
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to different teaching styles
Up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and technology in the classroom
