Job Description

As a Tour Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling tour packages to individuals and groups. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for travel, and the ability to meet sales targets. The Tour Sales Representative will play a vital role in creating memorable travel experiences for clients and contributing to the overall success of the tour department.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Proactively engage with potential clients to promote and sell tour packages.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets by effectively presenting tour offerings and closing sales.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of tour products, destinations, and itineraries.
  • Stay informed about travel trends, new offerings, and competitor activities to provide accurate and compelling information to clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Sales Process:

  • Guide clients through the sales process, from initial inquiry to booking confirmation.
  • Provide clear and detailed information on tour packages, pricing, and payment options.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services, upgrades, or extended packages to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to stay updated on promotions, changes, and logistical details.
  • Work closely with the Tour Department Sales Manager to align sales efforts with overall departmental goals.

Sales Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and bookings.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance for review by the sales team and management
  • Assisting with the visa documentation. 
  • Providing checklist.
