Job Title: Social Media Video Editor 
Estimated Time: 3-10 hours per day (Sun-Fri) 
Location: Virtual/Anywhere 

About the Job:
We’re looking for a Rockstar Video Editor to work with us and deliver amazing results to our clients. In the simplest terms, the job is watching client’s long form YouTube or Podcast videos, then finding the best parts from them, and turning them into attractive short social media videos. As our video editor you will have the following roles: 

• Attend the daily team call 
• Coordinate with Client Success Manager, Content Researcher and Social Media Manager 
• Research Client’s YouTube/Podcasts and find content ideas to post 
• Watch YouTube videos and find the best parts suitable for short videos 
• Edit Professional short Videos for clients (check out @hormozi on instagram for examples) 
• Edit Professional YouTube videos (Jumpcuts, Motion Graphics, Text Overlays, Stock Footages,nBackground Music, Intro/Outro, etc) using Premiere Pro & After Effects 
• Create Thumbnails for Clients using Adobe illustrator 
• Communicate with Clients, send updates and reports 
• Communicate with Team, send updates and reports 
• Learn new skills/strategies to improve your work 
• As this is an evolving role, additional responsibilities may be added as needed 

Requirements

As the Title says, we’re looking for a “Rockstar Video Editor” and this doesn’t mean just anyone. You must be hungry to learn, able to meet deadlines, communicate fast and show up motivated and enthusiastic. Unlike many video editing jobs which require you to stay in the background and do your editing work, this job enables you to use your creativity, communicate directly to clients, represent the company and build a strong relationship with them. If you already have the skills necessary for this job, that’s great. If not, we will teach you every step, but you must be willing to learn them quickly and get really good at it fast. We will train you on the skills if we see the potential. The requirements are as follows: 

• Excellent writer and speaker: Grammar, Punctuation, Messaging, Copywriting 
• Self motivated, charismatic, positive and amazing personality 
• Constantly learning new strategies to do your work better 
• Well versed in multiple platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, TikTok, YouTube shorts, etc. (or willingness to learn and adapt as things change.) 
• Must have knowledge of how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Skilled in Adobe illustrator for creating thumbnails 
• Creative and able to come up with ideas, adapt to how things are changing & make suggestions for content, strategy, engagement, etc. 
• Must have a good eye for how to make awesome videos, and how to customize it specifically for the client 
• Willing to learn any new skill that is required for the job, and to do any task that is needed of them 
• Not engaged in any other work projects at the moment 
• Not studying in school, college, university 
• Someone who wants to make money and grow as a team 
• Must have a good working laptop (enough to smoothly run Adobe Premiere Pro and After effects), a good working phone and a fast and reliable internet connection
• A positive and joyful person who doesn’t complain or make excuses 
• Able to reply fast, meet deadlines and take responsibility for their work
