Personal Traits

• As you will work closely with our counselors and many many students. If you don't have good communication skills or aren’t super organized, you will be overwhelmed.
• You have an attention to detail that borders on obsessive compulsiveness. A single mistake in an application can be extremely costly.
• College application is about creating an image in the application officer’s mind. You will need empathy to understand the students and a way with words to put that on paper.

Skill Set

• You have worked in the higher education industry as an application officer for at least one year.
• You can communicate effectively with the counselors, students, and university representatives to make sure that the student’s application stands out.
• You are competent with Google Docs/Sheets, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and scanning tools.

Job and Growth Description

• You will be responsible for collecting, scanning, arranging, and uploading documents required for US applications. You will also be responsible for filling out application forms on behalf of students if needed.
• You will be working closely with our counseling team or UniPort’s partner organizations regarding student applications.
