We are seeking an experienced Unity VR Developer to join our education technology company. As a Unity VR Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging educational VR experiences using Unity and VR hardware. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative VR solutions that enhance learning outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality VR experiences using Unity and VR hardware.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, engineers, and educators to create engaging educational VR experiences.
• Develop and implement new features and functionality for VR experiences, based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Test and troubleshoot VR experiences to ensure optimal performance, quality, and user experience.
• Document and maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and code documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging VR technologies and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
• Contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and planning activities.
• Work in an Agile development environment and follow established development processes and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Unity development, including VR development.
• Experience with VR hardware, such as Oculus, HTC Vive, or other VR platforms.
• Strong knowledge of C# programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Experiences with Unity 3D game engine and related tools, such as Unity UI, 2D/3D animation, and physics engines.
• Experience with Git, version control, and software development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and to manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in education technology or e-learning platforms.
• Experience in developing multiplayer VR experiences.
• Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with Unity plugin development.
