Position: Unit Head-Digitization
Department: Commercial

Purpose:

Planning execution and lead digital transformation in Commercial function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy, effective planning and execution of digital initiatives
  • Lead to deliver Commercial team business KPI's in collaboration with rest of commercial team
  • Facilitate to provide digital solutions to resolve specific business challenges for commercial team
  • Bridge commercial team with technical team and solution provider to better understand /interpret business requirements
  • Coordinate with commercial SPOC to get necessary approvals from Ncell management to implement digital initiations.
  • Collaborate with SPOC in finalizing initiations G.T.M plans and KPI and present these plans to commercial leadership for approvals.
  • Review digital initiatives KPI's once the system is live and highlight achievements and shortfall to senior leadership team in timely manner.
  • Brainstorm with digital initiative SPOC and leadership team to come up with next step plans and recommendations on how to excel or achieve the targeted numbers of each initiative
  • Coordinate with SPOC’s in training user group & market survey to get end user insights to enhance system capabilities and platform adoption.
  • Liaise with technical team and solution provider to deliver these enhancements as per business timelines.
  • Identify individual targets in cooperation with immediate supervisor and perform work professionally and with loyalty and integrity.
  • Define targets according to annual instructions and report the results. Delegate the sub-target setting to the team and follow-up on results.
  • Execute performance management process including target setting, follow up, evaluation, and development plans for employees.
  • Ensure continuous internal communication including regular meetings within the organization units.
  • Coordinate functional training within team to acquire required competences.
  • Define and propose annual and long-range budget (CAPEX and Opex) aligned with business initiatives and technology objectives within given authority and budget.
  • Monitor and follow-up on planned budget to ensure smart spending and cost optimization wherever possible without compromising on agreed KPIs.
  • Maintain positive team spirit among colleagues to ensure effective realization of targets focusing on the overall success of the company and the satisfaction of customers.
  • Understand and fully adhere to the company values and code of conduct and act as role model and ambassador of the company.

Qualification and experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management or relevant field with minimum 8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in Management or relevant filed with at least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Preferably with managerial experience
  • Proven experience in the digitization and cross functional liaison
  • Experience of planning and implementing digitization projects in line with business requirements

Profile

  • Possess thorough understanding of digital management systems and practices.
  • Should have project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Telecom industry with a focus towards digital program design and implementation.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have strong analytical skills, multi-tasking skills and advanced troubleshooting skills with customer centric approach.
  • Highlights longer-term implications of issues or situations that facilitates planning for the unit or function
  • Creates new solutions to resolve problems or issues in novel ways
  • Proactively seeks to optimize the financial or business impact of initiatives
  • Stays updated with business developments and take steps to align work towards the business changes
  • Takes personal responsibility for correcting customer problems - corrects problems promptly and undefensively.
  • Able to establish and gain commitment from various parties to achieve one's team objectives.
  • Strives to create exceptional performance for the team
  • Encourages teamwork and bonding within and outside team without compromising delivery of exceptional results

Duty Station

Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements
