Executive Search of Merojob is recruiting on behalf of a prominent IT Company. We seek a dynamic candidate for this position. The UI/UX Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring that the software company's products are intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. 

Roles & Responsibility

UI/UX Strategy and Design:

  • User Research: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Persona Development: Create user personas and user journey maps to guide product design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas, interaction flows, and UI elements.
  • UI Design: Create visually appealing interfaces that align with the company’s brand identity, usability standards, and best practices.
  • UX Design: Design intuitive and seamless user experiences that optimize user engagement, task completion, and overall satisfaction.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure designs are responsive and accessible across different devices and screen sizes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective UI/UX solutions.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from stakeholders, users, and usability testing sessions to iterate and improve designs iteratively.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization to promote a culture of UX excellence.

UI/UX Optimization and Testing:

  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analytics and Iteration: Utilize analytics tools and user feedback to analyze user behavior, measure design performance, and iteratively optimize UI/UX designs.
  • Accessibility: Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to provide an inclusive user experience for all users.

Training and Documentation:

  • Guidelines and Documentation: Develop UI/UX guidelines, design systems, and documentation to ensure consistency and facilitate efficient collaboration across teams.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to internal teams on UI/UX best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Certification in UI/UX design is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Proven experience (3-5+ years) as a UI/UX Designer or Consultant, preferably in the software industry, with experience in designing complex applications or SaaS platforms.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

  • UI/UX Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, etc.
  • User Research: Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and user persona development.
  • Visual Design: Strong aesthetic sense and ability to create visually appealing and consistent designs.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and elegant UI/UX solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt designs to meet the cultural and usability needs of international markets, including the Nepalese market.
