Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Travel and Tour Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of travel logistics, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to delivering outstanding customer service. The Travel and Tour Manager will play a crucial role in planning and executing seamless travel experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Itinerary Planning:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget constraints.
  • Design customized travel itineraries that meet clients' needs and preferences.
  • Coordinate transportation, accommodation, dining, and activities according to clients' specifications.

Vendor Management:

  • Research and negotiate contracts with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other vendors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality service.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the travel planning process.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to clients based on their preferences and requirements.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate logistics for group tours, corporate travel, family vacations, and other types of travel arrangements.
  • Manage reservations, ticketing, and documentation for clients' travel arrangements.
  • Ensure that all travel logistics are organized and communicated effectively to clients and vendors.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage travel budgets for individual clients and group tours.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all travel arrangements meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct post-trip evaluations and gather feedback from clients to improve future travel experiences.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance the overall quality and value of our travel services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with a focus on travel planning and coordination.
  • Strong understanding of travel logistics, including booking systems, visa requirements, and travel regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in travel booking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
