Trainee- Research
Location- Kathmandu Office
Duration- Initially for 6 months (to be extended based on performance)

Position Summary

  • The Research Trainee will work under the direct supervision of the National Director to support the National Director with primary and secondary literature review, research, review of articles and information for paper presentations.

Primary responsibilities

  • Support the National Director for quality research work on program and policy related to the work of Habitat Nepal.
  • Must be creative and interested to do primary and secondary research work and
  • provide good written documents and presentations in English.
  • Familiar in the use of Social Media applications and prepare content for social media updates.
  • Will to undertake other assignments a given by the supervisor.

Minimum qualification and selection criteria and requirements

  • Graduate in any academic field.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply. Prior work experience is not necessary.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to learn.
  • A strong team player who is committed to the organization’s mission and values.
  • Has excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
  • Well versed with computer and social media applications.
