  • Environmental, Research & Consents
  • Design, Engineering and Project Management
  • Asset Management including Operations, Maintenance and Monitoring

Renewable Energy (Hydropower and Solar) will dominate future energy systems and Storage / Private HV networks will be key features. Hydroplan  already has the breadth and scope to tackle the challenges of all these sectors.

Job Description

Hydroplan  is a UK based Design and Project Management company focused on Renewable energy projects and a specialism in Hydropower. The job description includes:-

  • Outline design and layout of Renewable Energy projects and their components
  • Visualisation of structures using modern graphics software
  • Experienced with map work and geo-referencing

Requirements:      

  • Have a relevant qualification in civil or mechanical engineering or an architectural discipline
  • Fully competent using 2D AutoCad.
  • Competent in CorelDraw or similar graphics packages
  • Experience of 3D Solid Modelling is useful but not essential
  • Ensure drawings are of the highest quality standards
  • A working knowledge of a drawing office environment and quality systems
  • Liaison with Co-ordinators and project engineers
  • Experience from a consultancy or bespoke contractor would be useful
  • You will need to have a practical “hands on” approach, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.

Desirables:

  • 3D Inventor / Revit experience
  • Visualisations including Photoshop or similar
  • IELTS B1 / C2 English language written & spoken
  • Pre-detailed design experience

Shift Work: 

  • These posts will need some shift work (early or late)
  • Weekend working will be required regularly
  • Overtime will be paid where appropriate
