Trainee- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL)
Location- Kathmandu Office
Duration- Initially for 6 months (to be extended based on performance)

Position Summary

  • Assist the Sr Manager MEAL on all program monitoring activities relating to Habitat Nepal's program.
  • Help ensure comprehensive and accurate data collection, monitoring, and analysis of results to improve project implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The MEAL Trainee will work under the direct supervision of the Sr Manager MEAL to support the department work.
  • S/he will support in regular work on program/projects monitoring, baselines, evaluations, and survey. 
  • Will be engaged in research work for data collection both qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Engaged in field monitoring visit, prepare field reports and briefs.
  • Support in organizing MEAL events such as planning and review workshop.
  • Support in maintaining Projects database.
  • Undertake other assignments as given by the supervisor.

Minimum qualification and selection criteria and requirements

  • Graduate in any academic field.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply. Prior work experience is not necessary.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to learn.
  • A strong team player who is committed to the organization’s mission and values.
  • Has good communication skills in English and Nepali.
  • Has basic computer skills.
