At Pradhan & Associates, it has been our tradition that we first provide required professional training to fresh graduates prior to commencing with entry level lawyer position of “Associate” with our firm.  Fresh graduates are first hired as Trainee Associates.  In this position, Trainee Associates will be provided training to develop basic skill to interpret laws and make practical application of law as well as to draft legal documents.   

 A Trainee Associate will be evaluated based on their performance during the ‘traineeship’ for further promotion to a full time Associate position at the firm.  The time period for the ‘traineeship’ may last from 6 months to one year depending on the performance of each Trainee Associate and enrollment as an Advocate with Nepal Bar Council.

Job Specification

  • Must have completed LL.B. or LL.M. degree 
  • Good knowledge of laws in the area of company, foreign investment, banking, finance, exchange control, intellectual property and other area of commercial laws
  • Excellent command in speaking and writing in English language
  • Excellent command in legal research and writing
  • Must able to work with minimum supervision

Job Description

  • Draft written advice, legal memos, opinions, reports
  • Review and draft contracts, notices, letters and other documents
  • Research and analyze statutes, regulations, etc.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls
  • Represent clients before various governmental agencies
  • Communicate and correspond with clients
