Job Description

Background

Himalaya Vista Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (HVC) is a multidisciplinary firm offering services in project development, consulting, logistics, engineering, and procurement, with a focus on infrastructure and energy. Committed to quality and client satisfaction, HVC supports both NCB and ICB processes. As part of its growth strategy, HVC offers internship opportunities for individuals interested in tender support and project consulting careers.

Purpose of the Internship

The Internship Trainee will work under the supervision of senior staff and contribute to supporting tender-related activities for both National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and International Competitive Bidding (ICB) projects. The objective is to provide hands-on experience to interns and prepare them for long-term roles within the company.

Scope of Work

The intern will assist in the following areas:

  • Support the preparation and documentation of tender proposals for NCB and ICB projects.
  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and archiving project data and past experience records.
  • Help in formatting, proofreading, and editing technical and financial proposals.
  • Conduct background research for tenders, including eligibility requirements, terms, and market conditions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and other team members to gather necessary inputs.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation as per standard procedures.
  • Support internal project tracking and tender submission schedules.
  • Participate in administrative support work related to tendering and project coordination.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
  • Undertake field visits or short-term travel to project sites, client offices, or government agencies when required for data collection, submission, or liaison purposes.
  • Facilitate delivery or submission of tender documents to relevant authorities, clients, or project locations, which may involve inter-district travel.
  •  Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Performance Review and Conversion to Permanent Role

  • The intern’s performance will be reviewed periodically during the internship tenure.
  • Upon successful completion of 6 months and based on satisfactory performance, the intern will be offered a permanent staff position at HVC, with revised salary and benefits as per company norms.
  • Factors for evaluation will include punctuality, commitment, learning ability, teamwork, and contribution to Overall projects

Supervision and Reporting

The intern will report to the Assistant Business Development Officer or any other designated supervisor. Regular feedback sessions and reviews will be held to support the intern's development.
