  • Should have 2 years of experience in Domestic and International air ticketing.
  • Should have good knowledge about air routes for the long haul like USA, Australia, Europe etc.
  • Should be able to reissue, re valid and refund air tickets in Galileo, Amadeus and Sabre.
  • Experience in Travel Ticketing field.
  • Preferably a person who can deal with walk-in clients
  • Good language skills while on the telephone with a foreigner and writing/corresponding skills via email.

Job Description

A Ticketing Officer is responsible for managing ticketing operations, including reservations, sales, and customer inquiries, in a courteous and efficient manner. They play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and facilitating the ticketing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Ticket Sales and Reservations:

  • Assist customers with ticket reservations, bookings, and purchases in person, over the phone, or through online platforms.
  • Provide information on ticket availability, pricing, discounts, and policies.
  • Process ticket transactions accurately and efficiently.

Sales Promotion

  • Promote customers with additional services, upgrades, and relevant products to maximize revenue.
  • Participate in sales and promotional campaigns as directed by management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Handle customer complaints, exchanges, refunds, and other issues professionally and in accordance with company policies.

Ticketing Systems and Technology:

  • Utilize ticketing software and systems to issue tickets, generate receipts, and manage customer records.
  • Ensure that ticketing systems are updated and operational.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to ticketing processes.

Payment Processing:

  • Accept payments for ticket purchases through various methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payment systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile cash registers.

Information and Communication:

  • Provide customers with accurate information about travel itineraries, schedules, destinations, and event details.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to confirm bookings, send e-tickets, or provide updates.

Working Hours: 10 am - 6 pm
