  • Airline Relations: Established relationships with airlines and industry partners, with a focus on maintaining positive professional connections.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to resolve issues related to bookings, cancellations, and ticket changes swiftly and professionally.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Working Hours: Full-time, 6 days a week (Sundaay to Friday). Office hours may vary, with occasional overtime as needed.

Job Description

Image Holidays is seeking an experienced and highly motivated International Ticketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of international flight ticketing, including booking, issuing, and managing ticketing queries for our clients. The candidate must have strong expertise in GDS (Global Distribution Systems), excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with airlines and other travel service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

International Flight Ticketing:

  • Handle ticketing requests for international flights, ensuring accurate and timely booking and issuance of tickets.
  • Manage complex ticketing processes, including reissues, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with airline policies and guidelines.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to clients regarding ticket availability, pricing, and itineraries.

GDS Management:

  • Utilize GDS systems (such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) to book, modify, and issue international flight tickets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any GDS-related issues or errors during the ticketing process.
  • Stay updated with the latest GDS features and functionalities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Airline Relations:

  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with airline representatives to ensure smooth communication and collaboration on ticketing issues.
  • Negotiate with airlines on ticketing and fare-related matters to secure the best deals and discounts for clients.
  • Monitor and update airline schedules, fares, and rules to ensure up-to-date information for the clients.

Customer Service & Support:

  • Address and resolve customer queries related to international flights, ticket bookings, cancellations, and changes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the ticketing process, ensuring satisfaction at all stages.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of ticket transactions and client communications.
  • Prepare periodic reports on ticketing activities, sales performance, and revenue generation for management review.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with other departments (sales, operations, customer service) to ensure smooth execution of travel plans for clients.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff in ticketing processes and GDS usage.
