Required Skills, Knowledge and Attitudes:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in International Air Ticketing with System friendly viz Sabre, Amadeus, etc (work experience in US based Nepalese travel company will be a plus point).
  • Strong sales skills and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of ticket office workflow patterns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Fluency in Nepali and English.
  • Excellent command of English writing, listening, and speaking
  • Highly proactive in communication with the internal teams, Service providers, and Trade partners.
  • A team player with a positive and can-do- attitude
  • Forward-thinking and finding solutions keeping in the best interest of clients
  • Committed and Flexible to adapting to changing environment of the company
  • Ready to work under pressure and long hours in the high seasons
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, and attention to detail are required.

Working hours:  Night Shift ( 09:00 pm to 06:00 am - Should be flexible sometime)


Job Description

  • Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, availability, procedures, and policies
  • Demonstrate and provide different options to clients
  • Make a creative idea that has helps get the target
  • Arrange for reservation and book the ticket accordingly
  • Plan routes and compute ticket costs
  • Read coded data on tickets to ascertain destination and maintain its database
  • Determine whether space is available on travel dates requested by the customer
  • Contact customers to advise of changes with travel conveyance or to confirm the reservation
  • Provide the customer with assistance in preparing required travel documents and paperwork
  • Prepare customer invoices and accept payment
  • Follow up with the airlines/GSA/issuing agent for date change, re-issuing, re-scheduling, cancelling & refund process.
  • Maintain PR with valuable clients
  • Maintain current working knowledge of all events, services, and procedures of ticketing issues
