Silver Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Ticket Officer to join our Travel Department. The role involves handling domestic and international flight reservations, ticketing, reissuance, and related travel services while ensuring accurate bookings and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have experience with GDS systems, strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle domestic and international air ticket bookings.
Process airline ticket reissues, refunds, revalidations, and EMDs in accordance with airline fare rules.
Manage bookings through GDS (Galileo, Amadeus & Sabre) and airline booking portals.
Assist customers with visa requirements and travel documentation.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting with travel arrangements.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all booking and ticketing transactions.
Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines while ensuring quality service.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

+2 or equivalent qualification in any discipline (a Travel & Tourism-related qualification is an advantage).
Minimum 2 years of experience in air ticketing or a similar travel industry role.
Proficiency in GDS (Galileo, Amadeus & Sabre).
Strong knowledge of LCCs (Budget Carriers) and airline booking portals.
Expertise in domestic and international air ticketing.
Good knowledge of fare rules, reissue, refund, revalidation, and EMD.
Knowledge of visa requirements and travel documentation.
Excellent customer service, communication, and sales skills.
Strong computer skills with attention to detail.
Honest, responsible, and team-oriented.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary: NPR 50,000 per month, plus performance-based commission.
