Job Description

Department: Technical Services

The Technical Manager at Dristi Tech is a position that requires both Technical and Managerial Skills. S/he should be able to perform all tasks related to company systems including troubleshooting any technical issues. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner
  • Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end
  • Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably make changes if required; make sure the team is fully trained and able to perform their jobs; must provide guidance for all members of the team when it comes to designing, implementing, and updating any system
  • Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a mentor to team members
  • Must ensure team follows the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases; make sure that all procedures are documented for reference and that all of the members of the Technical team are trained to handle any situation.
  • Must also perform performance management tasks for the team. These duties include conducting employee reviews, handling employee complaints, and dividing the workload among members of the team.
  • Make presentations on project and team status, present monthly and annual reports to senior management
