About Otermans Institute

Otermans Institute (OI) provides transferable and employability skills training to some of the more underserved and unserved learners in ten countries globally including Iraq, Nepal, Lebanon, and India. Through our training, we are supporting learners who are forced out of school due to the pandemic, those who are in extremely remote locations, and those who have been affected by violence and war-like refugees in United Nations camps. We often work closely with governments including in the UK, NGOs and UN bodies to help upskill such learners and help them become more employable. Through our work, we have impacted 35,000+ learners just in the past two years.

Separately OI’s main focus is on AI products that can change the world. OIAI is our version of a digital human teacher that can upskill the next generation.

Role description:

• Opportunity to work with a United Kingdom based company
• Three months evaluation period which can lead to long-term positions
• Completion certificates issued to all interns who complete the 3-month period successfully
• High priority for the female candidates as per OI’s Equality and Diversity Policy

Essential Skills:

• Intellectual focused on research-based project
• Enthusiastic to learn AI and do proper testing
• Ability to find and clean datasets
• Capacity to work on backend as well as frontend development
• Excited and eager to accept new challenges
• Minimum criteria is having an undergraduate degree in computer science and/or engineering
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
