As a Team Leader (Software Development), you are part of a cross-functional team of four to eight members, and your passion for web technologies contributes to the innovative success of our customers. You play a role in ensuring the quality of your team’s technical work, both code and software designs. You are responsible for designing the software or systems required in your area of ownership and ensuring that they meet their design objectives. Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of multi-tenant cloud services in a microservice landscape.
• Understanding of SOLID Principles, RESTful services, application design patterns, and multi-tenant architectures in order to deliver the best possible software.
• Striving for performance and utilizing application metrics to identify bottlenecks.
• Building a pure cloud solution, focusing on high availability, and servicing the entire globe.
• Support the expansion of our infrastructure with the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure in Terraform.
• Transform and extend our microservice architecture into a serverless, highly scalable, and secure backend.
• Connect numerous data sources (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, S3,  unstructured public sources, etc.) with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Be a major driver for the successful delivery of new features in our application landscape.
• Take an active part within the close collaboration of the cross-functional team.
• Perform code review to ensure code quality, design, and coding standards.
• Mentor and train the team of developers to build the best technical solutions.
• Ensure Delivery within Time maintaining Quality.

Skills:

You should have at least 7+ years of experience with the following technologies

• Node.js and the NPM ecosystem.
• Java (version 1.8+), Spring (Boot, Data and MVC), Tomcat 8+, Apache Commons, Gradle/Maven Or Node.js, TypeScript, ES6+, Webpack, and the NPM ecosystem.
• Database queries and transactions via SQL and ElasticSearch.
• Unit and functional testing with Jest.
• Understanding about Continuous Integration and Delivery with Pipelines (or Jenkins) to AWS (or another PaaS).
• Principals should include SOLID, RESTful services, and microservice application design patterns.
• Striving for performance and utilizing application metrics to identify bottlenecks
• Knowledge about TypeScript.
• Experience with Terraform and virtualization using Docker.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) - bonus points for Lambda, API Gateways, RDS, ECS.

Nice To Have:

• Familiarity with Unix-based systems and bash scripting
• Experience with the SaaS business model
• Front End Technologies: VueJS, Angular, ReactJS, etc
