Team Lead and HDI Country Director to lead an innovative digital initiative in Nepal
Howard Delafield International, LLP (HDI) is a behavioural insights consultancy, working around the globe and driving innovation to positively impact lives. We have built a direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital platform for mobile games using discovery and play to empower young people to become active decision-makers in their own lives.
We are looking for a highly experienced Team Lead & Country Director for the adaptation and expansion of the Game of Choice, Not Chance™ (GOC) to Nepal. If this sounds like something exciting that you want to be a part of, we welcome qualified applicants to join our highly creative and innovative team.
We are part of a USAID award for an Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) project led by CARE in collaboration with National Health Education, Information and Communication Center (NHEICC). HDI will create a youth-centric portal with multiple channels to reach adolescents to address agency and self-efficacy for adoption of healthy behaviours and to facilitate adolescents’ reproductive empowerment.
We are looking for a values-driven leader… someone who believes they can generate lasting social good. The Team Lead & HDI Country Director will head up our project team and collaborate with staff in Nepal in partnership with CARE, their consortium partners and stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is experienced working with USAID-funded projects and is able to drive results, while balancing client, donor, partner, and end-user requirements. The successful candidate will lead the HDI team and collaborate with partners to guide the build and implementation of an adolescent digital portal with digital tools. These will include a digital game, videos, and elearning tools, and ensure a bridge between in-game experiences with access to information, products, and services in-real life. This leader requires the ability to manage a diverse team of tech developers, creative designers, researchers, behavioural scientists, DTC experts and ARH experts, while ensuring alignment with project objectives and goals. The position will be led by HDI and will be based in the CARE Nepal Office in Kathmandu, Nepal, with an estimated 20% travel. This position will report directly to HDI Nepal Co-Directors.
