Position overview:

Our Teaching Assistant provides support to a lead teacher in charge of a classroom. S/he will be responsible in reinforcing lessons by tutoring student individual or small groups. S/he engages in creating lesson plans, overseeing lesson preparations and will engage students in case-studies, group discussion, presentation, seminar/ workshops, project and internship works. S/he contribute to the scholarly works by participating in seminars and workshops with research reports and papers. S/he will also work as advisory to the student club.

Key roles:

Assist faculty in lesson planning, necessary preparation, getting materials ready and setting up equipment
Revise lesson materials with students individually or in small groups.
Collaborate with faculties to recognize issues of students and recommend solutions.
Support department in organizing academic calendar, routine, training, visits, guest lecture, execution.
Act as advisory to the respective club and motivate students to conduct and join desired activities.
Act as liaison to parents and students for counseling.
Take tutorial classes as and when required and fill gaps in case of emergency.
Supervise practical tasks, support students in projects and assignments.
Support the use of ICT in the classroom and develop student's competence in its use.
Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with faculty, discuss students feedback with faculty on learning.
Assist to develop and implement support plans of student for personalized learning.
