• Must prepare and set tests, examinations papers and exercises; marking and write progress reports
• Must be involved in organizing social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners, annual function and excursions
• Should attend and contribute to training sessions
• Should participate in marketing events for the school
• Should have to find ways to involve students into their lessons. Additionally, teachers may have to work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student
• Engaging parents and creating healthy relationships with students and faculty will help create a quality-learning environment
• You have to prepare classroom and coursework materials, home works assignments and handouts
• Record and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades; Classroom management
• Develop lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum
• Maintain discipline in the classroom
• Hold one - on - one conferences with students to keep them on track as necessary
• Meet with parents or guardians to discuss students academic progress, remedial issues and behavior problems when necessary
